4 stars Silver & Lead is volume 19, but I always felt that this series is easy to pick up from any point, like starting a comic book; the author creates waves of events, and this volume is actually the aftermath of a big arc. There's a lot of motherhood. This Buffy-like fae character is 8 months pregnant, and she is bored. She needs to be investigating and to be surrounded by danger, eheh, her husband doesn't like the idea lol, so this volume is a good one to start reading th

@topplingstackstours & @jordanstephaniegray #Bitten #TopplingStacksTours #JordanStephanieGray 4.25 Stars As an adult reader of Werewolf fantasy, I liked the book and the characters a lot for their actions, but I am not a romance reader, so I don't care for that part. But I will advise the readers that this YA is mature and, for some readers, even violent. The way I see it is: Do you remember when Bella in Twilight turned into a vampire, and the book ended? I wanted the story

I Kissed Shara Wheeler meets The Agathas in this cozy mystery about two rivals forced to team up to figure out who is framing them for crimes they didn't commit. Sadie Katz and Cleo Chapman have been rivals since birth. Literally. They entered the world competing to be the first baby born in the new year, a title Cleo ultimately won. And she’s been nonchalantly winning at just about everything since—much to Sadie’s chagrin. Now in the fall of their senior year, Sadie and Cleo

Meka is used to death. After all, it's the family business. As a newly certified mortician's assistant at her parents' funeral home, her days are not for the faint of heart. Nothing makes sense, especially the strange things start happening. Ravens are circling her home. Strangers are

Beth is Death. Uau! 5 stars Get book here (preorder, Will release January 2026), Simon & Schuster It's so awesome. I never discovered whodunnit until it was revealed. The Little Women sisters are presented with the same vibrant personality but in a murder thrilling mystery, and instead of Beth leaving us at the end of the book, she is found in chapter one. I love that the author created the idea of the book about them being written by their father, which brought the sisters i

Today starts BOGO with @librofm means: use one credit: get one book free: buy one get one. 😀😀😀 I went with The Bog Queen by @annanorthbooks it's a literary Murder Mystery. A man confesses to having killed his wife, but when they dig the location, they also discover a 2000-year-old body of a woman. It's dual time, so we get the fiction narration of the past as well. I liked it. Went to the beach today, so it was a soft murder mystery with extra themes such as panic attacks,
