This was one of the first times (very early) that an author portrays the native Americans as the heroes and the ones the readers root fo

📚Some notes: I just finished reading The Winter DollHouse, and I know it will be my favorite Fall/Christmas middle-grade book. It addresses so many relevant issues, themes, emotions, and perspectives.... from school to family, community, new friendships, changes, new siblings, different generations, historical themes... It's very complete. 5 plus Divorced parents, new school, parents relying on older child to help with younger children, dismissing feelings, new friendships,

Netgalley Read GIVE UP THE NIGHT releases next April 2025. I have been waiting for this one with excitement since the cliffhanger ending. Volume 2 picks up from the same moment, and then it's a non-stop hard to put down high stakes, time-sensitive race with very few allies. ___ ℕ𝕖𝕨 𝕐𝕠𝕣𝕜 𝕋𝕚𝕞𝕖𝕤 𝕓𝕖𝕤𝕥𝕤𝕖𝕝𝕝𝕖𝕣𝕤 ℙ.ℂ. Book here ● Review ● #gamerville This is an auto-buy graphic novel author for me. There is always a great balance between drama, serious themes, and positive resolutions. Great values and life lessons. In this volume, we have two main cores and several subthemes. First: the life of gamers who focus on online lifestyle vs. outdoor activities. The author shows more similarities than differences, and I appreciate that, I love both: games and the outdoors in a balanced way, and I

Empire of the Damned ❤️ by @misterkristoff @stmartinspress #smpinfluencer (I bought both copies at @barnesandnoble special editions, and audiobooks, but got a few free sample chapters of book 2 from #netgalley) A framing narrative, retelling the past events up to the present. Fun series. If you loved the first, you'd like this one as well. I love the grumpiness of the characters always bickering at each other. It has an extra layer because his sister becomes a narrator as wel
