THE VIOLET WEST
Fantasy Novels & Graphic Novels

🐶 with a lot of wisdom. Just finished... 5 + stars 🌟 This is brilliant and the artwork is amazing. Each double page is a painting, and the author is right. If we followed each of the puppies' ways to be, we would live in a better world. I definitely need to shake it off and stretch more. I already am a "good boy" for walking and staying curious. A delightful list of ways to improve our lives and be better humans to ourselves and each other. Great size for the font as well.

"Sometimes," Mom said, "people will try to make you feel like you don't belong. words will be loud, and sometimes, they'll be whispered. And sometimes, they won't use words at all. It may be a look, or even a gesture. But you are here. Your voice spreads like the morning sky and shines like the stars twinkling at night. You, too, are here." 🅱️ook Tour Stop + Review My review: Book 1 is Now on paperback and it's an amazing start for this series. A Summer Camp as you can't imagine. Safe for new friendships, but with a lot of paranormal activity. It's not a summer camp to lose weight. Lots of action, tension, and humor. Themes such as acceptance, self-confidence, fun, uplifting read, solving things on their own, and making new friends among those who share interests and experiences. Excited to start this series? H

Picture Book review: 5/5 A very sweet journey and a story about facing fears. I like that in a way he is listing all the things that scare him but Herbie finds a way to get over each one. When I was a child I used to sing too when I had to cross a silent dark cornfield. It was good to relate to this little fellow and remember a precious memory. What are your fears? What do you do about it to be a little braver tomorrow? I bought a copy to support the author. @ellennancyauth
