Thank you so much to those who have supported me this past years. My bookstagram is celebrating three years. I have a lot of fun taking photos and now I've stepped up by restarting videos as well. Small steps. My colors are mostly warm and blacks with blue accents. Whenever I see thriftstores I love to find new props to add to my photos. It makes me happy to discover cheap unique objects even when they have little deformities. I got the large red mailbox at Ross for almost n

5 stars Beautifully written. A historical story set in Rome in the 17th century. Giulia is based on a real person. This family (different relationships, generations, and ages) of women standing together to help each other. The author punctuated the end of the chapters (not all) with a poem that shows what is happening to one person is not unique; others are going through the same, or others are acting abusively as well. The Secret Apothecary keeps running even when it's dange

The Five Lamps : The Jewel of Wenzlo is a great start to an epic journey. 5 books, the next one will be released March. I loved this first volume (I already know it's going to be 5 books. The title kinda hints to us). This is the perfect start for a series and introduces the characters well, the world, the magic system, and what they are fighting for. The writing, plot, and characters fill us with nostalgia for classic titles like the Hobbit and the Redwall series. It's the

Book Info: You Would Have Done It Too by Heather Chambers Genre: Young Adult Horror Thriller Publishing Date: September 9, 2024 Character art was drawn by me 4.5 Stars This was super fun to read. I wish there was an anime series of these characters. It would be so cool. I kept seeing them react, showing Kawaii's emotions, blushing, and rolling on the ground laughing. The three make a great team. It is also a murder mystery, thriller, gory, and violent. Short read, easy, and

Song of Orphan's Garden Review 4.5 Beautiful cover and artwork. Powerful subtle message. I am glad to see a fantasy done in Verse. Fantasy is a genre from which I demand character depth, less plot-driven, and more escapism. I was so relieved to realize this is not a portal fantasy. It will read as a powerful fantasy novella for older readers and adults who love a Ghibli vibe, and it will be complex, in verse, with more than a pov for early readers to follow. Although it is fa

Book Info: Same Page by Elly Swartz Genre: Middle Grade Contemporary Publishing Date: January 14, 2025 5 Stars I can't accept banning books so when I see a book about fighting for the right to be educated I jump right in. My Review 4.5 Started my 2025 early this morning with a fast-paced arc with compelling characters. A sci-fi fantasy. There are dragons, dragon riders, shapeshifters, magic, vampire fae, a Prince who thinks himself a God, the history of different planets, races, and humans who have discovered females who can become their mates. The author is known for her sci-fi dystopian with elemental magic, and she keeps up the quality by giving us a science fiction space conflict and poli

This searing YA debut follows two teen girls as they fall in love and fight for survival in an abandoned bookstore, just weeks before another cataclysmic storm threatens to bring about the end of the world. Perfect for fans of Station Eleven and The Last of Us! The world is about to end. Again. 4 Stars Compelling characters, and an interesting plot for readers like Station Eleven. My favorite parts are: mostly focused on one scenery and one character, but the arrival of a new
