I can't believe it's been that long.

I had a lot of fun drawing, writing, and creating this series. I got to meet cute, smart fans along the way who have shared Polly, Paws, and many doors of possibilities with me.

Polly and the Black Ink is a series of 5 volumes (each volume solves one issue and the 5 together solve the bigger plot).

I illustrated and wrote thinking of my students. It's a story of bravery and friendship, self-discovery and community.

Each year I pick a family to win the full series.

This year, the family ***ort won the complete series. YAY!

I was so pleased when I heard that they identified themselves as one of the characters (I actually saw their photo. They look like twins). Eheh.

When Polly moves from the city to live with her Aunt Sarah on a quiet and peaceful island (that shows on no map), something else follows. Something far more dangerous than anything Polly has had to face until now. To fight it, Polly must solve the mystery behind it and go on adventures in places beyond her imagination.
