The most asked question by younger readers: WHY DOES POLLY NOT HAVE A NOSE?
I am very inspired by asian art such as anime and manga, which was part of my growing up. And to make them more cute and young, usually the nose is small and barely drawn in expressions. I love making characters like that and exploring the shapes and personalities.
Some famous characters without noses are our favorites: Powerpuff Girls, Adventure Time, Minions, Krillin (from Dragon Ball), Meowth (from Pokémon) and more 💜
