📚Today I'm reviewing FEAR: A Tale of Madness, a sci-fi mystery journey with hints of horror.
This classic, without spoilers, is about a man who doesn't believe in the paranormal, loses track of a couple of hours of his day, and also loses his hat. The metaphor is fun, he may as well have lost his marbles. I love this author's writing style; each novella or work remains a model for modern authors today and is enjoyable to read. Classic. If in the Yellow Paper we have a female version of falling into madness, this is the male version of that theme, with a strong revelation at the end.
I bought the audio version and liked it a lot.
👉I love the tips the writing Writers of the Future volumes include, not just from this author who is not among us anymore, but his legacy is as are his followers, such as Brandon Sanderson, Martha Wells, and many more.
