This is such a fun adventure. A portal but done in a creative way. Amelia Sand is a young goblin who attends an Academy in a world ruled by two evil humans. She discovers their plan to control and civilize all goblins and creatures, erasing who they are. Her plan is easy: open a portal to Earth and get other humans to help her defeat these two rulers, but instead, she brings two women who have already grandchildren, who can only move as fast as their knees allow, but bake awesome cookies. Their journey is of perils but also understanding and inner growth. Very fun quest (with hilarious footnotes) and a great ending with a solution to everyone's troubles.
