Loved it. The narration of her doubts, with sharp/smart comparisons, is hilarious punctuation to her skeptical year of trying to be a witch, from her experience with oregano and arugula to summoning a demon. I can conclude that, in my case, with my extreme anxiety, I would never know if my bad luck is a result of a bad spell, a payment for a spell, or magic not working- so many possibilities. I recommend the audio; it's read by the author, which makes it awesome. P.s. as a Bettencourt we're from Açores and France, I wish Portugal had a magic scene (the author has Madeira/Portuguese ancestry.
