🥰The Haunted Librarian Review

I liked this one a lot. It's cozy, funny, sweet, and bookish, with darling ghosts and an idyllic feel. A Disney-esque main character with lots of quotes and references to great books and characters. The Bedelia moment made me laugh.
The library has chosen her. In truth, many ghosts are trapped there for different reasons, and before she can help them, she must help herself by improving herself and her addiction to white lies that are heavier to deal with than the truth .
A fun bit is that she even (closer to the end suggests and I will say this in my own words an interpretation that joining the bookish online community for her type of introvert is the best. Unfortunately, it's not. Taking pretty photos, recommending more than others can jandle, actially reading a lot is no longer appreciated the midst of the current AI witch hunting mode, but that is another subject).
The author creates the perfect bookish paradise. The ghosts are fun, especially Minnie, who explodes in clouds of tiny spiders even after reading sensible classics with the main character.
It was a fun read, and it evoked a giant marshmallow kind of maelstrom at the end inside my imagination.
Made me curious about the other book: The Late Night Witches. Jumping into that one when I can get a copy.
