I went with The Bog Queen by @annanorthbooks it's a literary Murder Mystery. A man confesses to having killed his wife, but when they dig the location, they also discover a 2000-year-old body of a woman. It's dual time, so we get the fiction narration of the past as well. I liked it. Went to the beach today, so it was a soft murder mystery with extra themes such as panic attacks, ecology activism, and more. It was just what I wanted for today, nothing frenetic but a race against time to find out all she can about this ancient woman before they close the dig.
