Book 1 5 Stars

What an amazing series. I was drawn to the vibrance of the cover and artwork. It promised to be hilarious, and it didn't disappoint. Easy to read, the humor keeps us turning the page, and the mystery is fun. Sky is a relatable character, and Elvis is a cool, creative alien. Living in Area 51 and going to school with all these different aliens is so fun, diverse, and the pets add to it all. Sky had no idea her uncle was a high official in a secret base, but now that she has to move in with him, she is shown a lot. Spike loves pizza too much.

Book 2 Review 5 stars

When you think it can't get more hilarious, a space toilet threatens Earth. Yes, there is a lot of garbage in our orbit. I'm glad the author pointed that out, but (not a radioactive toilet), although the cover makes the best likeness to one. Volume 1: The threat was from Earth. Now it's from Space and above, but worry not, the duo then became a trio, plus pets grow into a competent team to solve this imminent danger. I am glad Spike still does the humor signs, but toned down a bit on the pizza joke. And Elvis' family is hilarious, from appearance to being afraid of ladybugs. Guess what? You can't stop now in Book 3, Sky's grandmother goes missing!!!

awesome artwork. I love this series. perfect to laugh after an overwhelming day, and motivates reluctant readers to keep at it.
