👉 Inspired by true events

👉 The level of Machiavellianism from the ex-boyfriend made me boil

👉 We can see the author understands how to write engaging thrillers from word 1 to the last

👉 The level of injustice is... infuriating

👉 So many red flags, he will take things to court and endanger her mother's life

👉 A system where the ones praying on the weak

👉 An honorable veterinarian main character, very lovable

This book. This author. Omg, from sentence one to the last it makes us boil, rage. The chapters of the court, the ones in the veterinary clinic... so much tension. The legal system is absurdly unfair. The ex is so manipulative. I can't believe someone went through this in real life. I was climbing the walls in fury. Very well written. Satisfying ending. I am still processing all of this.
