While my husband had a long work weekend I had the pleasure to get ahead into some readings that will be published this year.
I am loving this new (to me) app, I can see all the recent reads and the stars I've given in a very clean organized design. Easy to use too.
So yup, now I review to Amazon, B&N, storygraph, bookbub, goodreads, here, Instagram and Bookmory 🥰
Most recent reads:
The House no one Sees: prose and verse, shows the relationship of a teen whose mother addicted to opioids. It's very sad and honest too.
Chasing Evil is a biography true crime told by a super famous psychic and a FBI agent and how they worked together to solve horrible crimes (very detailed and sad sometimes)
Party of Liars: oh this one... what an interesting format. Super slow build whodunit book because this is the first time that I read something like this: the murder happens almost at the end of the book so we first get to know all the characters and fear... who will die? Who will kill? But one thing is certain: there's nothing to be done. It can't be stopped.
Very satisfying.
Bird Nird: My first read for Middlegrade March. Wonderful birdwatching and birder competition between schools, contemporary and realistic with great characters.
