What a great read. By keeping the chapters so short, we move the story along faster while still building depth and character growth. It's a rush from.the start to the end. Victor is determined to get his way and the consequences are terrible. Victor is very young abd has no limits. We can actually feel his laborarory, smell the experiences, it's well written. The journey is a rush as well. Also perfect for fans of Louis and Lestat.
Mary Shelley's Frankenstein is one of my fav gothic novels, and this is a great reimagining with a deep/terrifying connection between the two characters.
