3 Picture Books For Today

I got these copies from the same author (thank you and I will drop the two Pop-Pop volumes to a little free library soon as promised.)

Pop-PopSays YES To almost anything is a fun read and interactive. We searched for the YES word hidden in the artwork of each page. The art is large, and the questions are always fun. Each page is a different situation. I like that the author put some thought into it and gave us unique but also relatable scenes. I like the format and the artwork a lot. Very whimsical and great to introduce a lot of words. On some pages, we took more time to find the word. That was challenging and fun.

Pop-Pop Smells Funny But we love him Anyway like the other this one is also fun and has great large art. This one, we just have different scenes and don't have the interacting part. Again, each page has a different location and event that can lead to being explored in different ways by teachers and educators, from food to perfume, to nature... I am looking forward to the creative themes of the next volumes.

The Wonderful Once

Thank you, artist and author, for the diversity in the artwork. We have a great representation of different races. A very classical Christmas amazing story, of sharing, and joy in a season of love and taking care of each other.

This one has more text than the other series, and it's a great book to collect. The Spirit of Giving is an amazing character. I love the magic realism of this book. She takes Lucas to see the elves and their workshop and presents him to the reindeer to make his dream come true: to give every child a toy. What's his name? Lucas Astan... Santa Claus. Marvelous.

A Wonderful Once is an award-winning story. Appeals to all ages.
